Hi everybody,
Regarding what fery put forward, how about the rest of applicants who have received the UL in this forum?
are their occupations included on the new job list? we are just gonna inquire about this case as well. I will be really grateful if you could guide us.

@ armintaba, I can understand what are you aiming at, it would be really nice to analyze the trend and know how cic operate.
For me, I think its like this: every Visa officer (VO) have a bunch of files assigned to him, so it depends on how many applications the VO is working on, is he fast in processing applications, how do they assign applications to VO's (by quarter, by month,ect...), because once the VO reach your file, he will send you the UL.
What do you think guys?

Hello my friends,
please let me know how ielts would be counted for us old applicants ? according to new rule or old one?
According to the old one any 7 gave us 4 points but according to new rule as follows:
Speaking 6.5 gives you 4 points
Listening 7.5 4
Reading 6.5 4
Writing 6.5 4
so would we be counted according to this rule or previous one?

Do not worry . IELTS points will be counted as new rules.
Keep updating your file status. I am from India 2006 file But i have not got any reply till now.

Congrats. Keep flow good news.
I want to ask all 2006 DAMASCUS APPLICANTS. I am from India & 2006 Applicant. 3 days ago i found that in my e-CAS the address is not showing . Infact this is happening with some applicant from Isalamabad as well London & Nigerian. Do you have any idea on it. Have you find such thing in your cases ?
Please let me know about it.

Hi all
@ armintaba:
1- my husband major who is the main applicant was in 36 list but no longer in the 29 list. but many and many people one after another are getting UL and I don't think their major is included. hope all of you get good news asap.
2- to tell you the truth my husband is a PhD graduate from a Canadian university and because of that he didn't take the test for immigration purpose but it was one of the requirements to be admitted to the university. still I am afraid that may cause a problem. but as it seems this letter is something that they send to all the same.
some question I have:
1-should we send translation of our marriage certificate again?
2- do you all have copies from previous forms which you filled? unfortunately I didn't keep any and I am worried because there is very very detailed question that I don't even remember and I get headache.

surely everything is gonna be okay. you're gonna be sent the medical forms in not too distant future. By the way, apparently IELTS is a must for skilled worker category, so I recommend you to inquire about it before sending your documents.

thanks armintaba. actually we have several or I can tell many friends with the same situation that didn't take the test and they are already in there. one of them just recently went. I hope as you said everything goes ok.
