i changed my address & got a new work in a different city
how do i notify them?
email? or sh'd i send a regular mail for them??

if you live in a third world country, by mail. if you live in US or Europe, by e-mail.
and they need a info like date of birth...etc. so check with them too or they won't accept to change. I have done it before.

i believe you need to send the embassy a formal letter requesting that and it should be signed , it could be sent by fax or regular maile and SIGNED to be accepted , I think what ihakbal meant is the opposite as usually they use email for third world countries .....

but the problem is they do not notifiy you of receiving the letter neither they put your new updated address on e-cas ! so i dont know how somebody could be sure its changed especially in the mess happening in Damascus right now and the rumors thats the embassy is closed?!!!

actually I did send a letter in February and they did update my ecas very quickly.

Unfortunately for you, applications under the Federal Skilled Worker category submitted for processing prior to February 2008 have been pushed to the back of the line in favour of applications that were submitted more recently. Nobody can argue that this is fair but for now it is what it is. Processing times vary depending upon which visa office is handling your file. A complete list of current processing times at each visa office can be found on the Canadavisa's website.
 
If you qualify for Canadian permanent residency under the current Federal Skilled Worker category or under one of the other Canadian immigration programs you may want to consider submitting a fresh application as a way to speed up your entry to Canada. I recommend applicants of the late 2006 or 2007 and on to reapply in order to speed up their process as well, but this does not apply to applicants who submitted their updated documents
