Dear Friends,

I want to share with you an investigation I did in the Canadian Parliament website. The link is: http://www.parl.gc.ca/committeebusiness/CommitteeMeetings.aspx?Cmte=CIMM&Language=E&Mode=1&Parl=40&Ses=3

As a resume, I noticed that the immigration committee in the parliament is doing many meeting about PR processing time. You can read all the discussions by clicking the Evidence icon. These meetings are held by video conference with immigration offices managers in Africa, Taiwan, Russia etc....

So don't panic and be frustrated from the waiting time because the Canadian parliament is treating seriously the issue of backlog and processing waiting time. I think that processing will be boosted in fall 2011.

Regards

i have ordered CAIPS 2 weeks ago & i am still waiting the result Smiley
my status in ecas is still "In Process"
i hope that i can hear good news by the end of this year

well thats something because from what I hear your status would have changed to "decision made" if you've failed to get enough points. your status will remain "in process" till your medicals are in and they've reviewed it.

Dear friends have look on it:
http://www.thestar.com/news/investigations/immigration/article/980680--skilled-worker-faces-three-year-wait-for-immigration

Source: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/hold-2-years-in-the-skilled-workers-old-system-2008-t71441.15.html

It seems what I said in my last post is right. CIC has given absolute priority to recent list. Even those who applied after Feb. 2008 and their occupation is no longer on the new list must wait for 2 years.

I was reading in news that the result of American green card lottery for 2012 has been voided.
Why? Because they found out that there is a glitch in their program which gives higher chance for those who applied in lottery earlier than others. Therefore they voided the whole result just because it was UNFAIR to others.

When we applied for Canadian immigration on 2006, there was no fast track or job list. All were equally processed according to first in first out rule and the wait time was clear. Then they created Fast track which increased our wait times, but it was more or less predictable for us when we gonna get our PR accordingly. Now they put us on hold that makes our wait absolutely unpredictable.
They treat old applicants like surpluses for their immigration system. I'm afraid at last they gonna dump us to the dump heap.

Their south neighbor could be quiet about their error, and nobody would know about it. Instead they voided the result, they accepted all new expenses and they will do the lottery again, just because they want to be FAIR.
The word FAIR does not have any meaning for Canadian immigration system.

Dears,

First I would like to congratulate you and thank you for the great informationa and resources you are sharing with us, its good to know even if its not the news that we would like to hear from CIC soon such as medical requests.

Some say at this point no news is good news, meaning that if you didnt hear until know it means you got the required points, the problem is: when they will dispatch the medicals, the answer to this question varies as it has too many variables/conditions/reasons/factors.

I hope that we hear from them during Q3 2011 (July-August-September).

From my point of view, I guess the ones that will be waiting for 2 years and more would be one of the following catergories:

* Batches that did not receive request for update (UL), period between October 2006 and February 2008 (Old System)
* Batches between June 2009 and June 2010 (New System Version 1 -39- occupations.)

If you read Ali's post from the dailystar and other resources provided this week by Sep2006 and others you would conclude such a result.

This does not mean that we wont have our share of MORE and MORE waiting, for at least 1 year.

Dear friends  a couple of days ago I read sth in some other forum which may be worth taking a look. As you know some new applications have been transffered to Warsaw as well. right? one of the applicants whose file had been tarnsferred to warsaw got a reply after emailing the warsaw office that my be our real inquiry.

the reply: processing in this office takes 2 years, this answer was given a few days after transferring the file to the Warsaw post, right? our file were transferred to the Warsaw exactly a year ago, so according to their claim one more years is left for the processing.

please give your respectful views on it

I think your take on this is quite valid, I was reviewing the dates recorded in the Iranian forum and it matches your hypothesis. Based on those records our 2005 applicants were mostly transferred to Warsaw around June and July 2009, received their update request mostly on September 2009, received their medical request in Q3 of 2010 and received the passport request within 6 months or so.

Now we (2006 applicants) were transferred from Damascus to Warsaw on April 2010. We got our update request roughly around August to October 2010 and now awaiting medicals. I would like to think that our medicals will be in the pipeline for Q3 or early Q4 2011.

This all matches with the 2 year period that you are suggesting our files will be in Warsaw.

Hey Guys.

That's it, and that's what I meant when I said 1 year (with visa stamped), insha2 Allah we should have the visa stamped within this year, and Insha2 Allah less.

guys your analysis is true,
if you notice that they transfered our files in April 2010, after 5 months (less than 6 months) we got the update letter,
now it passed almost 5 months after the update, we should expect the medicals next month maximum, and before the end of 2011 we will got the stamp "hopefully".
the time difference between each process is 6 months.
