Salam All,

How will someone know that 20,000 limit has been reached. And what if someone send application after the limit is reached, will it be queued for next year or he/she will have to reapply again next year?

Thanks,
Saim

1.  CIC will probably post on their web site that the NOC is full.
2.  The application will be returned and you would have to apply the next year, if you still qualified.

Excatly and it would be 1000 per occupation. This method would be highly competitive. The documents will now be treated at Nova Scotia in Canada and would no longer be sent down to VO.Visa Office would only issue visa that is for the post june 26 applicants. So once those of us(pre June 26) can scale this CIO and our files get down to the VO processing should speed up cos that would only be treating old applicants(pre june 26)

I understand it would be a double process now. The 67 marks process would be done by CIO. Once done this would be sent to VO for verfication of documents. Hence may take extra time.

It should be faster because one doesn't have to wait twice for minsterial requirements verification. The VO will only do security check rather than both security check and ministerial requirement check.

Please don't expect me to answer if your post title has urgent in it and it is not really urgent. Urgent is 911 or you have a definite deadline tomorrow, not that you would like to send in the application soon

Yes but this is not going to make it longer for the new applications to be processed.
May applicants to CIO had to wait for April applicants, etc.
