my timeline application received 25 march 2011- per 21-4-2011 - medical sent 24 may 2011- baby medical and x-ray for my wife 4 august 2011- medical result have received line 31 october 2011. some people said to me that the visa quota  for cairo visa office have been finished so they told me that pending background check untill january 2012 at that time they receive new visa quota

I think Security Checks are done after medicals...

They can take from 3-4 months or less and sometimes more. Stay calm and patient dude...
