Dear friends,

I applied as Federal skilled worker back in 2010 , The application has not moved anywhere E-CAS shows received by Visa Office (Still not in Process Stage).
considering the long wait time. I am planning to file for Canadian Experience Class

My question: Do I need to notify CIC that I have an application filed already?
Do need to state I will withdraw my FSW application?

What action required from my end, kindly suggest
Regards

You can file another applicatio  (so far as u meet the requirement). You dont need to notify CIC (you indicate somewhere on the form, you have previously applied for a canadian immigration or something). They themselves will ask you to withdraw one of the application when they are about to issue you the visa, as they wont make a decision on two applications. You can go ahead and file your application, and let VO decide which one needs to be withdrawn,

when you will fill forms for new application there is a place in forms where they ask if you ever applied for immigration before. tick yes and provide your last file no. they will know then....do not withdraw first application now...if your second application reaches in process stage first only then withdraw the old one...thx
