hi
  i applied for immigration to canada on oct 24th 2010.my credit card was charged on nov 3rd 2010.i have not had
 any reply yet from sydney [cic].is this normal as we are getting a bit concerned?how long would we expect to wait
  and is it worth sending an e-mail.i am intending to move to nanaomo bc as an industrial electrician with my family.
  i would appreciate a reply.

Hi deek.  ,yes the time scale is normal,it seems to be taking around 120/140 days to receive AORs. cHeck on cappuccinos page and it gives you a blog and time scales etc.  Smiley

I agree, to further narrow it down, the average wait time is 124 days, although it took me 128! Cheesy

Also, being charged is a good sign, as only about 10% of such cases are refused, usually, they don't charge if they're gonna turn you down.

Fingers crossed for you from Feb 24th to March 4th! Good Luck

I hv got my 1st AOR on 26th September. i had 120 days to submit my docs to Delhi visa office.

I just had done that on 24th January... and now website is showing status that "your docs are received by Delhi Visa Office and Pending for review"..

Can anyone pls. tell me that how much time now it will take to have my 2nd AOR???

24 Oct..so..you will get it in 10-15 days max...as 15 of Oct. applicant are getting. Check your email & spam also...

Hi still have not had my 1st reply from immigration yet.I applied oct 25th and cc was cashed on 3rd november.Is this normal and should I e-mail and if so what is the address.

Hi could someone help me.I sent my docs to nova scotia on oct 25th 2010.My cc was charged on November 3rd 2010.I still have had no feedback from canadian immigration yet.I feel I should e-mail an enquiry does anybody have the e-mail address and if so what do I need to put in e-mail.

Wait for 15-30 days to have reply. But  hope that you must know that CIO will reply to query on if your application passed 6 weeks to CIO.

I got an e-mail from cic saying my application was being worked on.I still have not received any case number.It is now 150 days since my credit card was charged.Is this normal.?
