17th october 2010 applicants

 I have submitted my application on 17th October to CIO. I have checked with my bank and
understood that the DD has been encashed on 14th November.

 So far there is no information from the CIO nor any file number. Kindly advice what to do?
The visa office is london UK.

I believe applications received up to January 2011 are now hearing from CIO with eligibility confirmation, so you really should have heard something by now.
My advice is send contact CIO via their website. It may be possible they send you an email but it landed up in your junk folder. If they did fail your application it can take several months to get back, but if you contact them they should at least let you know if you got a positive or negative eligibility review, or whether your application is still being reviewed.

thanks a lot for the advice.Unfortunately I dont have older junk mails after feb. From Feb onwards no email from CIO.

By the way, if the DD is encashed, does it mean that your case is taken into
processing

My ecase notification says as "we have reviewed your application and sent you a mail on 15th February"
But till now I did not receive the mail. I have emailed several times to the fsw enquiry email but no
answer. Any advice is appreciated

What does it mean? file number and full documents request come togather by mail or email, it's seems looks like you applied by some consultant!!
how did you get file number and you did not get any mail or email by CIC? it's not possible. your post is not clear well that what you looking/asking for?
