Dear Experts,

Need your advise, my 120day deadline expired on 18th Oct, 2010. There were few personal reasons therefore i could not submit my documents, as well as my husband passport came yesterday.

Has anyone submitted their documents after 120day deadline and got a visa stamped?
Will they accept my application if i submit my documents now?

Seniors please let me know  your views....

Regards,

Monica...

I am not a senior, but I can tell you they will not accept your documents. They are pretty strict about rules and deadlines.
What you can do is send an inquiry or wait till your case is returned back. Then, you can re-apply and start all over again, but this time be sure to submit everything in time.

I think you should send the documents you have nothing to lose and try to describe the personal reasons you had to your visa office

My friend sent her documents and because of postal delay , they arrived after the date line and the application was  rejected.
Like others have suggested send the documents with a cover letter why you are sending them late. They might consider them.

Hope it helps.

Give it shot not minding the lateness. You might just be lucky that your designated VO/IO might just be slow in working to your file.

That member is pre 26 June 2010 applicant, for new applicants ( after 26 June) all documents are sent in advance except Police clearance certificate.

Please put some strong reason and send the docs as soon as possible. You can get medical certificate easily from a doctor in India.

If you have evidence of late submission, your application will be accepted.

Good luck.

This is silly -- you are given four months so that medical problems won't prevent your finishing.  I'm curious if all these people who are telling you to submit your documents have any reason for doing so, other than hope?

I sympathize, because I also had a hard time getting everything -- but what you should have done was send in all that you could get, with an explanation for why some documents were delayed, and include evidence that you had applied for them already.  I'm positive that it's too late now, and you should save time and money by keeping your documents and using them for your next application.
