Tocy : Bank certificate is a simple letter on letter head of the bank stating that you are the customer of----------bannk with ..................... account number from this date and at present your account balance is ................
Generally signed by bank manager or incharge
Bank statement is offcourse, statement of your acocunts showing the transactions from last 6 months (as required by CIC for immigration purposes). you should have enough funds depending upon teh number of family members you are.
Bank Statement of 6 months minimum is MUST. But if u add bank certificate, it would become more authentic.

hi...anybody has any idea how many total 1122 applications had been sent to CIO?....
i am planning to send in 2-3 days time....and worried abt the 500 quota .....thanks to all though for answering me and helping with replies of different queries....as soon I send my application, I will update the forum....

Tocy-- i hope ur bank statement is also on letter head and stamped!! Some banks dont stamp the bank statement unless asked! i guess ur one is stamped and on letter head of the bank

JFALVITEZ --- next step is wait till the time ur bank draft or credit card is charged!! Once ur fees is charged it means ur application has passed the completness check!! Later, evaluation will be done and if positive, u will be issued AOR/PER

Thansk, so I will wait until the charges in my credit card... Somebody knows why the pago of Total complete applications of the CIO has not updated??? today is 15/07 and it stills zero for everything!!!

hi...my bank certificate is from HSBC...and its letter head....but unfortunately its not stamped.... I am adding my bank statement as well...which shows same balance as bank certificate....and it is sealed....but here its not in letter head... will these be a cause for refusal? |

hi...for giving input in funds field....i have used oanda.com for currency conversion from local currency to CAD...is this ok?....or there is some official website/process to convert currency from local to CAD?

hi all...thanks all for their suggestion and advises while I was preparing my application deck for sending to CIC....at last I am done and sent my application deck today under 1122...now keeping fingers crossed  can anyone comment if I sent at right time before the cap is reached? |

I have one question ....does CIS check bank accounts personally...like does they contact with bank account managers to verify....now should I maintain my balance in the account....or i can withdraw amount and later on if rquired, again deposit the funds....

Previously there was no restriction in Investor Category Almost 17 hours ago on Twitter it announced that cap of 700 applications of Federal Investor Program has reached its cap of 700 Applicationshttp://twitter.com/#!/CitImmCanada/status/91936264797945857 It means that CAP of 1122 is not closed yet. Otherwise it will be announced on twitter. But i think 1122 cap will close within next 10-15 days |

Lets see who is in and who is out
I am also much worried about my applicatoin!! Although everything was perfectly/truly compiled, but u know there are always chances of minor errors in filling the forms and gathering/compiling the documents.(especially when u are in hurry due to CAP)
