As much i know, that at first instance they just check taht how many points you cliam...means u r making 67 or not & cap should not be reached for your category. if they find that you are claiming more than 67 points & Cap is not full then they will debit ur credit card or BD.

Second stage...completeness check...in that section, they check that Do you have supporting documents to the points you are claiming or not..& if yes, you have docs to support hwat yu r claiming. they will send you the file no & send your file to your visa office for further verfication & processing. then they will send you medical & ultimately VISA

Second they charge the fees
Third they do the assessment of points etc at CIC
Fourth they issue PER or NER
Fifth the file transfer to Visa office
Sixth the visa office do the required verification and may ask for more docs or new bank statement or even a new PCC as well
Seventh 2nd AOR or medical etc and so on

Sent the aplication today under 1122. Counting on my luck to reach before cap ceases. Can any body let me know that can they consider application reached after cap ceases if they rejects some earlier applications on the basis of documentation or other reasons

Once the CAP is reached, CIO will only consider applications with job offer. There is a possibility that your application will reach CIO when CAP for NOC 1122 will be around 470. There is also a chance that your application will be 501 and that someone's CC will not work and that then they will consider yours. But once they charge CC and confirm completeness check of 500 applications, they will not accept any application after that, even if 10% of those 500 will receive NER. They clearly said that "Within the 10,000 cap, a maximum of 500 Federal Skilled Worker applications per eligible occupation will be considered for processing within this same time frame."  This doesn't mean that 500 visa's / NOC  will be issued.

The next update may be the final one announcing the  closure of the NOC code 1122.

hi friends, any new updation in cic site? when i look at the spread sheet it seems like so many blue coloured dates under "date of encashment".
  keep going for a better future.

Another CC charged! Not mine but my sisters. Her application was received on July 7th and her payment got processed on August 9th, bank posted it on August 10th. Her NOC is 1122 and she applied by herself.
Whereas my application reached CIO on July 8th and I haven't heard anything yet.....still hoping to see CC charged.....

my courier thru DHL is not moving beyond Cincinati... wth ...

Hi Ravi, Do you mean to say that all 419 complete application have passed their initial check and awaiting for CC/BD to encash? If so, there is no backlog in reviewing the document by CIC?? Mine was recd by CIC on 8th Aug'11.. Do you think those who have submitted in Aug month till date will get through before CAP??

Hey Congrats... Dont worry, yours will get thru shortly... just inform your bank that you are expecting a International payment transaction. They will take care of the rest.. All the best..
