Thats just horrible !!
I wonder how many applications do they get everyday .. may be that will help us figure out till when they will keep accepting applications.

It appears ridiculous to me to think that CIC accepted apps for first 6 days of the month and just kept on receiving couriers for the 30 plus days after that only to be sent back...
Anyway you are better off this year..mine reached on the 20th after my agent's goof up and the DHL's delay due to 'bad weather'(reason quoted by them)...

Any update on the BD front.That's a sure way to know that your app is counted towards cap.

My app. has reached NS, CIC's office very close to your date of delivery, i.e. 13th July, what do you suggest, when will it be fine to check with my bank for BD encashment....

Mine was also received on the 13th, NOC 1122, and up to last week my BD was not encashed. Why don't you try calling the bank?

I did that today. The banker was not comfortable when I asked him to confirm me about the encashment. On my request, he has agreed to confirm me about the encashment, but with a condition, i.e. he will only tell me once that whether the BD has got encashed or not. Hence, I'm waiting for somebody from 1122 NOC to confirm that his/her BD or CC has got encashed and then I will go and check with my banker. I hope I've made my concern clear.

I don't understand why do they get fed up when asking, the bank where I issued the BD also gets bother when we ask...

Then try next week, lets see if in these coming days are some CC charged near our date..

Hi - your bank wherever it is and whoever it is has a duty to tell you whether the BD has been cashed, what the hell the 'banker' (quite literally by all accounts! ) was on about i don't know, next time ask for a manager! The way a BD works is the money is taken from your account and put into a banks holding account making the draft give a guarenteed sum to the recipient once cashed. The bank at any time can check their account to see if this money has been withdrawn, the money until cashed is still yours, you have only dedicated it to a guarenteed cheque aka bankers draft that will either be cashed or returned.

I am also in a similar timing like you.  I sent mine on 18th July and was delivered on 25th signed by M.KRSWDA.  Hope it works well for us all.

I need some indepth clarification from Senior members.  

My application was received on 25th July by CIC signed by KRSWDA including IELTS band 7 and all notorised docs. I had take TEF to boost my points. At the time of sending my application the TEF Attestation from France was not yet available, the Chambre de Commerece et Industrie sent me a certified scanned copy which I printed and included in my application. I did this to meet up with cap which was fast filling up. I included a note saying I will sent the original TEF ASAP.

I sent the original TEF which was received on 5th August. I also included a work reference letter on company letter head signed by my immediate director, since I COULD NOT GET ONE FROM  HR on sevral requests. My TEF score will fetch 6 points  to take me up to 69 from 63. Payment by CC.

What are my  chances? Please tell me
