Sanity

Thanx sanity for your answers. it was really a great help. I do need more help if you are any one else can answer to below queries:

1. For CSQ question, if i put yes then it asks for the number and if i put NO, then it require teh date. I am unable to put N/A, it do no accept the format.
2. Statutory declaration of common law union? what for this form is and even this is not mentioned in the document checklist?
3. Any idea if we can cross refer the documents from document checklist (IMM 5612), i-e can we write some thing for eg. for prrof of fund refer section XXXXX.
4. Is it safe to disclose all the information of credit card? if yes then if unformtunately due to some fault if card doesnot get charged (due to any network error or fault at issuer, bank and originator end) then what will be consequences? will they communicate it or simply return the application?
5. for filling up instruction for new generic form, this is mentioned:

d.Place the barcode page on the top of each individual package.
what does it mean by individual package?

First thing get the status of your BD checked, As the letter is dated  22nd July, probably your application was checked for completeness before 22nd July. No file number indicates your file wasn't put into processing when they returned originals. Hope 281  I guess you cleared the first phase of assessment. They returned originals as they wanted only copies.

Did you receive letter by regular mail? what's your VO?

Please get your details added to the spreadsheet for post

Hope 281, Have you applied before this, I mean do you have two applications filed parallely with them?

I received the letter via regular mail. I applied before but it was rejected since the quota was reached. My VO is Manila. Btw, i can't find the spreahsheet in the link you just sent.

Can you please tell me what time did your application reach CIC on 6th July? Can you please confirm once again that your CC was charged on 5th August and not before say 4th August?

My application reached CIC on 6th July  at 2:41 pm.

I called the bank today and they told me that my credit card was charged on 5th August, around 10 pm Central European time zone. 10pm - my time means that it's 4 pm in Sydney Canada.

I also called the bank on friday morning -August 5th - Central European time, and there was still nothing about CC charging, so that's how I know it was charged later on friday and not on thursday, because if they charged it on thursday afternoon (Canadian time), the bank would see it on friday morning (my time), as it is only 6 hours of time difference.

Thanx sanity for your answers. it was really a great help. I do need more help if you are any one else can answer to below queries:

1. For CSQ question, if i put yes then it asks for the number and if i put NO, then it require teh date. I am unable to put N/A, it do no accept the format.
CSQ is required for Quebec. 'After obtaining your Certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ – Québec Selection Certificate), you must submit an application for permanent residence (visa) to the Canadian embassy or the Canadian Visa Office serving your country.'
May be you have selected Quebec as your destination, that's y it asking you for CSQ details. For Quebec, the immigration process is different. Vist Quebec website 'http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/en/index.html'.

2. Statutory declaration of common law union? what for this form is and even this is not mentioned in the document checklist?
It's applicable if you are not married but in live-in relationship.

3. Any idea if we can cross refer the documents from document checklist (IMM 5612), i-e can we write some thing for eg. for prrof of fund refer section XXXXX.
You have to attach the documents in the order of the checklist. You have to only check the checklist and if not applicable mentioned 'N/A'. However, you can attach a cover page to each section where you can mention reference details.

4. Is it safe to disclose all the information of credit card? if yes then if unformtunately due to some fault if card doesnot get charged (due to any network error or fault at issuer, bank and originator end) then what will be consequences? will they communicate it or simply return the application?
It better to use Bank Draft.

5. for filling up instruction for new generic form, this is mentioned:

d.Place the barcode page on the top of each individual package.
what does it mean by individual package?
Individual package means 1 application. EG7 page # 33 point 4 'Place the barcode pages on the top of your application
(forms and supporting documents) when you will submit it.'

Hi I am a new member. My application was delivered yesterday. Clock currently at 391 and moving fast towards 500. I have been told by my agent that this year VISA Processing is not on first come basis but purely on eligibility. They are looking for people with experience from large multinational companies with profiles specifically as management consultants or close. Thats the reason the CAP is not full yet.
anybody s guess.
