Hi All - quick question, do we know if the CIC release the numbers for NOC 1122 and all codes based on a CC/BD payment being process, so if an application is good for content and the payment is made then they are 1 of the 500 - or is a person included in the quota before there payment has been taken? I rememeber last year it was a bit random how the numbers went up for the quota against when payments had been taken, you;d think there was correlation but am not 100% sure how this works.... PS - my package is being delivered today via FedEx from London, no that hopefull unless they have counted all applications to date lol. Many thanks

I think they post the count after successful review irrespective of BD encashed or not. They do not charge you for the initial review, when I got my kit back last year it was reviewed by them, with the tick marks and a long alphanumeric number written with pencil on my application.

Thanks grimreaper, I thought that may be the case, i am not so optimistic though - people are talking about the CIC having a HUGE/MONUMENTAL back log of applications to go through and if they do go my date/time delivered then i'm thinking that the short answer is only a matter of time away..... Heres hoping they extend the cap Maybe not hey!

Not sure if I am correct but if cc were charged on 22/7/2011 and then again on 27/7/2011...well maybe they do it again on 2/8/2011 and then again on 8/8/2011. Lets just hope it happens

Is this long alphanumeric number written with pencil on app. a number which we have to writte on new CIC forms second time we apply or not? Or is that number only for their internal purposes?

According to what I read it this forum, there is no indication that the CIC has a huge backlog of application. Also there is no indication that they handle the request on first come first served basis, I have a feeling that the order is somewhat random. So I am more optimistic then many members of this forum.

No one had any clue what the number was not even my agent, may be a file number they wanted to give me if I had made it into the 1000 then.

Dear All,
I read on CIC website that as of July 18 2011, a new system regarding sending AOR will be implemented. Meaning that the AOR will be automated since it is now integrated in the new GCMS. I have sent my application on the 26th of August by courier and according to the shipment tracking, it was received in the 1st of August. I am applying as a FSW under the first category and NOC 1122. My main concern is that this cap is now half-full, and I am afraid that my application will be assessed after the cap is full and will be returned. Noting that I have used the new IMM008 validated online.
I would appreciate getting any feedback.
Thank you
