... but the problem is my DD has not charged yet and there is no further communication from CIC except "Application is currently awaiting initial assessment. You will be contacted in due course...
Mine answer from CIC is "awaiting initial review" and still my CC is not encashed... But as I saw there is a forum member which CC was encashed and still he got an answer after months that his documents have been returned due to cap reached... So, don't worry, the encashment seems also not to ensure the positive feedback...  We just have to keep our fingers crossed and that's it... |

Leda, Thanks for motivation. On which date your file has been received at CIC ? Mine answer from CIC is "awaiting initial review" and still my CC is not encashed... But as I saw there is a forum member which CC was encashed and still he got an answer after months that his documents have been returned due to cap reached... Hey guys I think we all got answer from CIC in this month. The timeline of giving AOR by CIC is 4 months, so I think July applicant's will get some news in this month.
I read about timeline on this forum website and I also conformed with my Representative.

& then
2: "cap reached"

Hey sandip, One forum member Daljit has reported that he got 2 answers from CIC . First he received that his file awaiting intial processing than he received tha email that his file has been returned due to cap. of 1122 has been reached. 1122 candidates of July 20 th to August 10th will get PER this month mostly. DD / CC will encash one week before of their PER. If CIC will encash the DD / CC before completion of Initial assessment of case, there may be chance that case will be negative or Postive. If negative, CIC has to take new DD. The charges shall bear by CIC only. It is double work. So CIC will encash DD / CC once completion of assessment. So the candidates from July 20th candidates will get DD / CC encash before one week of their PER.

Has anyone got their package back? Cic stated on their email that mine was sent back on the 31st of august, but up to today I haven't received anything yet!
Does anybody knows how long does it take? I'm starting to worry that my docs are lost!
