Today I received email from Visa Office Guatemala confirming they received my application package ( exactly 20 days after I received fist AOR) but I still canīt find any information regarding my application on ECAS?? Why ???It seems they still havenīt uploaded my info...  The email also states that the process delays an average of 24 months from the date they receive my application package!  Thatīs way too much time! |

MKREYSA, Pl mention when you filed the application? When you got PER? After a week getting PER you can expect a change in ECAS status.... My got changed after 8 days..... Today I received email from Visa Office Guatemala confirming they received my application package ( exactly 20 days after I received fist AOR) but I still canīt find any information regarding my application on ECAS?? Why ???It seems they still havenīt uploaded my info... The email also states that the process delays an average of 24 months from the date they receive my application package! Thatīs way too much time! |

Hi Nish, Have you got your DD charged? Nah bd hasn't charged yet. Just got it checked yesterday.
I know i have lost the game, but still hope is immortal.

Below mentioned are my details: Visa office: London NOC Code: 1122 Application Received by CIO: 20th July 2011 Here you go ..... Dear Sir/Madam, Please be advised that your application was returned with all attachments on 26 Sept 2011 as the cap of NOC 1122 has been reached. Please note: all returned applications are sent via regular mail to the mailing address as entered on the application form. There is no tracking number. Once the application is mailed, its delivery is the responsibility of the postal service. Thank you for your interest in Canada. D.A. Thats totally a bad luck or what .... i dont know  ?? |

Hey Munaf, Sorry to hear that.... dont get upset and dont put your moral down.... Keep ready all the things prior next time and post the same ASA Cap gets open.... I applied (1122) on 28-7-2011 and CIO received my application on 03-08-2011. I sent an inquiry few days back and got an answer :
"Good Morning
I can currently find no record of your submission. This, however, does not indicate we have not received it. We currently have a large intake of files. Please allow an addition 3 to 4 weeks for the creation of a record. Please re-inquire then.
Thank you
D.A."
I see in the forum that guessed date if MID of July. In spreadsheet I see that Tenby, Bhanu30, Jeca, can-ai-dua-na's application reached there 13th July, but returned due to CAP reached. CAP closed in CIC is 22nd August.

This simply means that they have not entered / open your application yet.... They might have rec it but they have not opened/checked/entered in their data base yet..... Yuo can try it after a week or 2.... TC I applied (1122) on 28-7-2011 and CIO received my application on 03-08-2011. I sent an inquiry few days back and got an answer :

I got following reply from CIC today.
Dear Sir/Madam,
Please be advised that your application was received on July 20, 2011 and returned with all attachments on Sep 20, 2011 as the cap of NOC 1122 has been reached.
Please note: all returned applications are sent via regular mail to the mailing address as entered on the application form. There is no tracking number. Once the application is mailed, its delivery is the responsibility of the postal service.

Bad news, but no problem, I will apply again. This was my 2nd attempt and many people believe that 3rd attempt has always a greater chance of success.

My applicaction was received at Sydney the 4th of July.
I received first AOR by email on the 8th of September stating the review was positive and that my file was being transfered to Guatemala( visa office) I was also given a UCI number and Application number.
The 29th of September I received an email from Guatemala with a letter attached stating that the process for permanent residence was initiated and also gave me a new file number ( I guess for the visa office) and the letter also stated that in that visa office the average processing time counted from the date they recieved my file ( 29th September) is aprox. 24 months!!
So I guess I have to wait .....Maybe they have a great backlog...
