Ravi,
CIC has written "awaiting initial assessment" instead of "awaiting initial review". As I know that assessment come after review.
U have a valid point but they dint mention a file number...... Nd my application received on 14th july was returned due to cap reached............ So how can ur application received much after that b in the cap............ |

Hello Everyone!
I got my first AOR the 8th of September.
I received an UCI number as well as a Client Identification ( Immigration ) number.
But, I try to check status on ECAS and I receive the answer that I can´t be tracked on the system....
How come?? How long does it take for CIC to update the info after sending an AOR?
Does the visa office send some notification once they have received a client´s file?

What error you are getting while logging it to your account?? Pls check the number which you are entering.... Select the first option UID and enetr the same in below box. It wont show you on screen as its a p/w so, check before typing. Another misatke would be typing your family name. It should be only SURNAME. As wrotten in yoru application. Then enter your DOB correctly and yoru birth country ( As given in your passport)... if an donli if all yoru values are correct and matches with their database entry you will successfully logged in to the system.... Else it wont allow you to enter into the same. VO send an acknowledgement on receipt of an application. When you get your PER and/or 1st AOR, after a month or 45 Days; status will get updated to "Received by VO"... (I have not completed this task as I am waiting to change the status for Received by VO). ... All the best !!  Hello Everyone!

These are my expectation for the Cap for different NOCs bases on application reached and processed till July 21, 2011. i am using july 21 because its the last date for which we have information regarding the CC/BD encashment. so it means that the Cap update of 20th September includes the application recieved till 21st July.

What are the dates mentioning against each NOC? previously it was number for CAP... Yes this is correct...... I also believe that quotas for NOC 1122 will fill at different times for different VO quotas but is alll a guide i guess....

Please be advised that your application was returned with all attachments on 16 September 2011 as the cap of NOC 1122 has been reached.
Please note: all returned applications are sent via regular mail to the mailing address as entered on the application form. There is no tracking number. Once the application is mailed, its delivery is the responsibility of the postal service.
