Completely agree! There has to be some other criteria that they're considering, which explains why the cap was considered complete on 22nd Aug.

If you are a Skilled Worker applicant and you have a request for case information you may contact the Client Service Unit of the Central Intake Office. If you applied within the last six weeks, the CSU will not respond to your enquiry.
You will not receive a reply to your email if:
you have not already applied as a federal skilled worker
you are not authorized to receive personal information
you applied within the last six weeks
your enquiry concerns any other topic.
Please do not send the same enquiry more than once. You can reach the CSU at FSW‑Sydney‑Search‑Enquiry @ cic.gc.ca.
hello there!! oh.. I emailed them twice..first, I emailed them with my name,noc and date of when my file was received on CIO..but when I got the automatic response from them that I should include my identity/client Id number.. I sent them another email stating my passport and prc Id number? Will they get mad about it? Im afraid they wont reply on me because I emailed them twice  Its been 10days already since I emailed them..still no response.. |

My application was received by CIC on 11.07.2011
Reading posts in this forum I've almost lost any hope to qualify this year untill today, when I received the followin e-mail:
Good Morning
Your file has been received by our office and is currently awaiting initial processing. You will be contacted in due course.
Thank you
What does it mean? They do not state that my application is returned. My VO is Bucharest. I think they have some regional quota

On the other hand if Cap has indeed not reached on 8th July then why CIC is quoting incorrect reasons ( returned due to cap reached) to some applicants.? Last year, it was very clear cut . CIC didn't confuse applicants with two differently worded/meant reply mails. If that's truly the case I'm happy for everyone.  |

The person who didn't make it through this year .. someone with the filing date of 8th July.. is that person from the New Delhi VO??? |

This is the only hope I have, as my VO is not India and may be i make it through if there is a regional quota. It will be a miracle. Congrats to all those who made it! |
