I have a BCS (Bachelor of Computer Science) degree of 3 years that is NOT HEC recognized. After my BCS, I did an MBA Executive degree of 1 year which fortunately IS HEC recognized. So in my case, am I eligible of showing a 16 year education in my immigration application and would my 3 years of BCS be accepted? Or would my BCS degree be disregarded? How many years of education am I eligible of showing in my case?

hi, if your 3 yr degree is from recognized institution then it should be ok. though number of years of post secondary education will be lesser for you.

you may also wait for others to respond...

good luck.

@ Ainpfamily: Thanks so much for your reply.

To clarify further, the institution I did my BCS from was Pak-AIMS (Lahore). At the time I completed my BCS, the institution was NOT chartered by HEC. But just after a few months of my graduation, they got chartered so now it's a HEC chartered institution. Would my BCS degree still carry points in my application for immigration or do I HAVE TO get it recognized by HEC? Or they accept my BCS degree and give me points for it based on my MBA that IS indeed HEC recognized?
I'll be grateful to anyone who could help me please. I'm sure answering my question in this thread will help many others as well because I'm sure there are many others in the same situation.
