0631, 0632 & NOC code classified elsewhere ! any hope for Mar-Nov 08 applicants?

In the section of NOC code 0632 (Accomodation Service Manager), which is under 38 NOC, following NOC codes are listed as classified elsewhere.

Executive Housekeepers (6213)
Facility Operation and Maintenance Managers (0721)
Restaurant and Food Service Managers (0631)
Retail Trade Managers (0621)
Sales, Marketing and Advertising Managers (0611)

Is there any hope for 6213, 0721, 0621 & 0611, as they are simmilar job to 0632 ?

No, close only counts in horseshoes and grenades.  You have to perform the main duties of 0632.

I applied under 0611 (Marketing Manager), which is not under 38 NOC. However, I recently identified that I perform some other duties that are similar to the code 0632. Unfortunately I did not mention the duties of 0632 in my application.

Can you suggest me what I should do now ? If I send the local Visa office my detail duties that matches the code 0632, will they accept it ? Or anything you can suggest.

Once you get the refusal from Sydney, then you reapply showing your duties under 0632, the local CIC doesn't have your file.

Hi friends

im presently a guest services manager for a year and half and im planning to apply under 0632 and fortunately most of the main duties stated matches my present job.  actually 5 out of the 7.  my question is can i use my being a former guest services supervisor for a year? since three of the duties matches the duties stated on the noc 0632.so that i can use a total of two years for my work experience and will give me additional points. thanks.
