They requested form IMM 1017S ( MR form) on that date and kept it on hold for the "quota reason".
your file is now in MICROLOCATOR which is cosidered to be as the Immigration freezer and it will be opened in due time when their priority would call you. What I can see that this file was picked up by a VO but soon after that it's processing was stopped and put into a long term freezer.
That is why its been 8-10 months now with no new BF'd date for your file.

Dear Brad You must be a very lucky person to get visa in 11 months as most of the people in Noc 0213 are waitng from last 18 months for medical ! As in my case I sent my complete documents to CHC LDN on 17 April 2010 and still waiting for medical !!!!! I hope the we will get medical soon !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Hi MG, Here are my views. Job offer before we get PR - It is bit hard even though you reach out to some Job Sites. Practically it is hard. Job offer once we get PR - This is the time where you can look for some opportunities and again you cant expect 100% positive results. You get calls mostly when they see a canada phone number or address in resume. It will work out if you have any local references or if people who know your work recommends for the open position. My story - I have one year canadian exp and few ppl who knows about my work offered me a job. All the best to all of you who is waiting for medicals/pr/offers. |
