Thanks for reply, i already submit an application through a representative last year in May, i have problem with him and he didn't give me the file number, and he said it was issued in Oct 2010, is there a way to recover my previous application?

Send a mail to CIO via their website, who should be able to confirm your file number if you have one. If you have a problem with your presentative you can instruct CIO to deal directly with you instead, there's just a form you need to complete and sign.

Also I would recommend attending a CIIP course after you get med requests!

well....if ur application was received by CIC-sydney office before june 26th,2010 ....then they wud have alloted u a file number.....

if ur consultant is not giving u any details abt it....it makes things lil doubtful....anyways if he's not willing to cooperate at all....then u can contact directly with CIC-sydney office(aka CIO).....mentioning your details in it....u can check ur application status as well lodge a complaint against the consultant (only if consultant is registered with CSIC--u can check that from CSIC website) and also inform CIC about u firing him as ur representative.....i dnt have the exact contact information...but tht wud b easy to find out thru cic.gc.ca .......moreover if u sent ur fee with DD or bank draft....i guess its possible to check if it's been encashed or not.....

u can also PM some of the seniors like canada1234,Cappuccino,qorax,leon....etc...i guess they can guide u better than me....

lets hope tht all turns out well 4 u ......
