I attended the interview yesterday. To my greatest supprise, while I was still answering one of the questions, the immigration officer cut in and told me these: " I just want to tell you that your application has been accepted, your medical result is out, and your visa will be ready in...". I did not hear the rest of what she told me because I was overwhelmed by joy. I thought the result will be anounced later. I didn't expect to hear the result so soon. I had a lot of friendly discussion with the officer (I am always lucky with women). She made me feel so relaxed during the interview.


I want to express my deep appreciation for the way your law firm prepared me for this interview. I was finding it difficult to explain to my friends why they need a lawyer. But now, I can make it clear to my friends that a plan to relocate is like a foreign investment initiative, and just as one needs an investment analyst for a sound advice, it is neccessary to seek immigration consultants, in order to be adequately prepared.

I just wanted to let you know I picked up my visa package today. The visa itself was laminated to my passport, and with it I received a large envelope with a lot of documents which I have not had time to revise. The visa itself expires on April 9, 2003, as I expected. I gather that as long as I land before that date, I should not have any problems. I'll be contacting my old consulting colleagues briefly; I doubt I'll be landing without a job offer. My MBA is going quite on schedule (20 weeks more to go), so I plan to land early next year. I just wanted to say THANKS to you all in helping me in getting my PR Visa for Canada. Yesterday afternoon I landed in TORONTO by Air Canada 877. The Immigration Office at the PoE was too much helpful. I was standing in a queue for the Immigration clearance when she came up and asked if I was landing and then told me to follw her.She just asked me couple questions like: Are you single? How much money you have in your possession? What is your profession? And then she asked me to sign the Right of Landing at 2 places. She signed it, filled some columns, stamped my passport and let me go.
