And then, one by one, your efficient collaborators taught me the art of being patient and perseverant before the most solid bureaucratic machine: the Canadian Visa Office. Some of your collaborators were truly remarkable—they were able to 'read' in between the lines when I was a little impatient and sent me words of reassurance.
